The term "bespoke" is defined as "custom", or "designed and made only for one's personal requirements and tastes". The word has been used in various luxury product services from custom made cars to expensive custom yachts, but is most commonly used by the British for tailor made suits and >tailor made shirts. What make bespoke suits so unique are the traditional methods of production used to construct them, which allow every aspect of the garment to meet the wearer's precise requirements. These methods have been preserved for centuries and are used until this very day. The techniques involve cutting fabric from scratch and hand stitching it to meet the individual's exact size, shape, and style preferences, unlike off the rack made to measure suits. With the service being bespoke tailoring, the wearer can try the outfit on before it is finished, and have desired adjustments made until perfection. Bespoke formal wear allows the wearer to customize the styles and fit of the garment completely.
The Process

Unlike off the rack made-to-measure suits where each size is manufactured to fit a group of people, bespoke tailored suits are handcrafted by an individual to fit the individual. Hand made in workshops by experienced artists, custom made suits require a process that allows them to be completed to excellence. The procedure begins by the client choosing his fabric, with the help of our fashion experts. After the fabric is selected, the client has full control of the style options with the assistance of our fashion advisors. Empire's master tailors then take the wearer's body measurements, followed by a fitting where the client gets to try on a draft version of the suit before it is finished. During the suit fitting, our custom tailors discuss the desired fit and shape of the suit with the customer, once again giving him full control of customizing his garment. After studying several measurements and having seen the client wear the draft version of the suit, the tailor uses his gathered knowledge, experience, and understanding of the client's needs to complete the clothing. The end result is hours of detailed craftsmanship meeting the client's precise size, shape, and style tastes all shown off by his new bespoke garment.

Our suit cloth ranges from medium quality, to high quality, and even rare and top of the notch quality. The fashionable pinstripe, the classic solids, checks and plaids, and tone on tone, are only few of the many types designs we store.
The Styles
Fully customizable styles for bespoke suits
Bespoke services for suits are unlike a mall store in which you'd select a suit from the rack, and it may be your favourite color or pattern but not your anticipated style. With custom tailored suits, you select the fabric and decide whether you want a two button suit, three button suit, or a double breasted suit etc. Other jacket options include having a center vent, two side vents, or no vents (closed) on the rear side. Hand stitching on the lapels is an option, and the width of the lapels is also customizable. Trouser options include having either pleats or no pleats, cuffs or no cuffs. With Empire International Tailors customers enjoy having their names engraved inside their custom jackets (optional) and selecting interior silk linings which come in different colors and patterns.
